Mentha suaveolens

Soft, hairy, round leaves have a gray apperance and an apple-menthol fragrance. Nice for tea.

Banana Mint
Mentha arvensis 'Banana'

Squeeze the soft hairy leaves and the fruity scent bursts forth.

Mentha spicata 'Chewing Gum'

It has a very minty scent.  Very much like mint chewing gum.
Chocolate Mint
Mentha x piperita piperita

It is not so much chocolate, more like a peppermint patty.  It makes a great iced/dessert coffee.  Just simply add 4-6 inch sprig to the grounds in your coffee maker.  Allow the coffee maker to run as normal.

A spearmint with very curled leaves.

Egyptian Mint
Mentha niliaca

A robust plant with sturdy upright stems and large velvety gray leaves.

Ginger Mint
Mentha arvensis 'Variegata’

Beautiful green and gold varigated folliage.  It scent is a blend of fruit, ginger and mint.

Grapefruit Mint
Mentha x piperita 'Grapefruit'

A blend has a spearmint flavour with a strong grapefruit overtone that make great iced tea.



Kentucky Colonel Mint
Mentha spicata v. spicata

A great spearmint with a fruity note in the background.  It is a great all around mint for drinks, teas, and cooking.


Mojito Mint
Mentha x villosa

The original mint for the Cuban mojitos.  It maybe a little different than most American expect.

Orange Mint
 Mentha aquatica 'Citrata'

A hint of citrus mixed with mint is tantalizing in fruit punchesand teas.
French Peppermint
Mentha x piperita 'French'

Similar to regular peppermint, but it has smaller leaves.

Peppermint tea is an old favourite, excellent for stomach indigestion. Don’t be fooled by seeds labelled as ‘peppermint’, peppermint can’t produce seeds because its flowers are sterile.

Pineapple Mint
 Mentha suaveolens 'Variegata'

Similar to applemint with a sweeter, fruity scent with creamy white and green foliage.

Swiss Ricola Mint
Mentha x piperita 'Swiss'

This peppermint with a menthol note.  Used in swiss cough drops.
Corsican Mint
Mentha requienii

This mini mint is super strong mint once was used to flavor mint jelly and creme de menthe.  It works as a ground cover.
